A film about their life

If you want someone who never met them — a grandchild, a child who is three years old today — to be able to sit down twenty years from now, watch twelve minutes, and know who this person was, then a memorial film is the right thing. What they looked like, who they were, what they often said, what they did in the morning, the year that changed their life, the thing only the family knows. And anything else you want to pass on. Photographs alone do not say this. Someone has to put them in order and give them words.

How it is made: we ask you a few questions. Someone on our team reads every word you send and decides the structure. The text is recorded by a professional voice, or with your own voice that you send us a sample of, over your photographs and home video, with real footage in between — not images made by an AI. You see the film within seven to ten days, and you have a week to tell us what you would change. Then it stays on their page, for good, and you have it as a file of your own.

The price is for this work — reading, choosing, writing — and it's less than others ask for the same thing; in Germany a five-to-ten-minute film starts at €4,800. But you do not buy it because it is cheap. You buy it once, for one person, and it is the last thing you can still do for them.

€1,200. Up to 15 minutes, up to 60 photographs, and your own video. Professional narration and subtitles. One round of changes for you included. Usually, we deliver within 7–10 days, because we work on it with care, attention and respect, but if you want the film sooner, there is an extra fee.

Most films are 8 to 15 minutes. After we read what you send, we tell you roughly how long the film will be before we start.
